The two local teams are the first to head out. We had the chance to talk to Óscar "Mixwell" Cañellas to learn a little bit about gBots, hear their impressions from the tournament, and their hopes for the future.
The two Spanish teams were, expectedly, the first to drop out, although gBots didn't go down without a fight as they were able to take Dignitas all the way on de_cobblestone (16-14), and put in a solid 13 rounds against fnatic on de_inferno. Despite not being able to turn on the heat against EnVyUs on de_mirage this morning, the team sees the event as a success.
Making two top teams struggle as they have, even if just in a best-of-one at an event with a more for fun tournament system and with Katowice in just a couple weeks, will surely be a big boost in confidence for the Spanish team, who will seek to keep growing this year.
